Gentle Awakenings
August 7 @ 6:00 PM - August 10 @ 2:00 PM SAST
Awaken your body and spirit from winter’s embrace with a weekend of gentle restorative and somatic yoga, taking place over the long weekend of 7–10 August. This weekend coincides with Woman’s Day, a celebration of strength, compassion, and renewal, as well as the 25th of the lunar month, known as Dakini Day, a time traditionally associated with wisdom, inspiration, and the awakening of inner potential. All participants — women and men alike — are warmly invited to connect with this energy and bring it into their own practice.
This retreat is designed for practitioners of all levels, offering a nurturing space to reconnect with your body, calm the mind, and restore your natural vitality. Through mindful movement, guided relaxation, and visualization exercises, you will release tension held in both body and mind, enhancing mental clarity, improving sleep, and cultivating a deep sense of well-being.
Beyond the yoga mat, immerse yourself in the peaceful beauty of the pristine Bushveld with gentle walks, and allow yourself the luxury of time — to sleep, read, birdwatch, stargaze, or simply soak in the quiet. This is a weekend to slow down, restore your energy, and awaken fully to the present moment, honoring your body, mind, and spirit.
