A retreat in the Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh

Impermanence moves us into the unknown whether we like it or not.  This movement based workshop will provide an opportunity to slow down and embrace the depth of our embodied experience and wisdom in a time of great uncertainty. Cradled in the safe beauty of the Tara Rokpa Valley with waterfalls, fresh air and blue skies – Touching the Earth will provide space for relaxation and healing.  Deep Yoga, Zen Practices, Movement and Dance will provide doors to greater joy and understanding.  In these times of climate crisis and despair – come and be soothed by the cool breeze of the Dharma. Both beginners and experienced practitioners are welcome.

Your facilitator:

The workshop will be facilitated by Ava Avalos, MD, ordained Zen Dharma Teacher in the tradition of Plum Village & Thich Nhat Hanh.  Based in Gaborone, Ava specialises in HIV/TB medicine and teaches yoga and dances as often as she can
