DESCRIPTION:Join us for calm moments of flow\, reflection\, and renewal as 2023 comes to a close. Absorb the beauty of Tara Rokpa Retreat Centre (TRC)\, swim in “The Eye” (the deepest freshwater spring on the continent)\, walk mindfully\, and sit under the waterfalls. Let go and Refresh. \nTogether we will practice Zen in the tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh\, facilitated by Dharma Teacher\, Dr. Ava Avalos & OI Aspirant & Psychologist\, Ms. Betsho Mokgatlhe – Practice\, Open\, Relax\, Swim\, Chant\, Dance\, and Sing! \n  \nAlways Beginning – Always Anew \n  \nAva is an ordained Dharma Teacher in the Tradition of Thich Nhat Hanh.  She facilitates Tshedisa Sangha in Botswana – the first African Zen Sangha on the continent.  She is a dancer\, yogini\, HIV/TB specialist physician\, and AIDS activist. She currently leads the Botswana National Advanced HIV Care Initiative\, is a Research Associate of the Botswana Harvard AIDS Institute and the Botswana-Baylor Children’s Centre for Clinical Excellence.
