Mindfulness is the buzz word in meditation circles and this retreat is designed to give you a broad and robust introduction to this powerful life-skill that can help you transform the way we live our lives, or to help you deepen your practice. By training in Mindfulness, our relationship to our emotions begins to change – and this allows for other changes in our lives.
Nan explains what mindfulness is, how to start practicing it and exploring what it feels like to be mindful, what stops us resting in this state and how we can live a more mindful life. You’ll learn some of the basic mindful practices, so you have something to take home and work with. This is an experiential course, learning through practical activities, instruction, discussion and reflection.
